Just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, Trenton police responded to a report of a man shot and a motor vehicle crash, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
Suspects had fired multiple bullets outside 118 North Stockton St. at North Hanover, police said.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a crashed car with victims inside.
One shooting victim, later identified as David Williams, 36, was extricated from the vehicle by the Trenton Fire Department and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the prosecutor's office.
A female passenger in the car was uninjured from the shooting, authorities said. However, she was taken to the hospital for injuries from the crash.
